OK - so I have finally narrowed it down to two bedding choices. They are actually the same bedding style, just different colors. I need you help to decide which one to pick.

Here they are.

This one I woud paint the walls a white wainscoating on the bottom and pink on the top of the walls.

This one I would paint the walls a white wainscoating on the bottom and a light green on top.

My instinct is to go with the first one because I think the green would pop on a pink wall more than pink would pop on a green wall. But I am not good at this at all and I cannot make up my mind!

So what do you think? Which one do you like?

Kristine

I like the first one the best. In fact, I don't even like the second one at all. Though, green is my favorite color so that might be why! The second one is just too much pink on the bedding for me. I agree that the green color would make a pink wall pop! :thumbsup2

I like the second one, but then pink is my favorite color.

Here's a thought though...if you go with the second and paint the walls green, you probably won't have to repaint the walls as soon. It seems like green is a fairly neutral color, but if you paint the walls pink and she ends up being more of a tomboy than a girly girl, she might not like the pink walls once she's old enough to voice an opinion.

Of course, what do I know...I have boys! And when I wanted to paint my bedroom pink, DH said no. :)

Exactly what I was thinking. And I did the pink thing. A little too much. I was pregnant and was bribing my oldest that I would make her a room in the basement and do whatever she wanted. Yeah, pink walls and carpeting. After a couple years she hated pink.

I picked #1. Both are very pretty.

I voted for the second one but when I looked closer at the quit hanging on the green wall I like that one better. I guess it was too much pink in the picture until you throw in green walls and see the quit open.

So I want to change my vote to # 2.....

I voted for #1 but I would go with a real pale pink.

I voted for the pink bedding on the green walls. That green is so soothing. I just think it would be serene and calming in a baby's room.

My bedroom has white bead board on the bottom half of the wall and I adore it.

I also think you cannot go wrong in your choices. Best wishes to you!!!!

OP, I could also see a pale yellow on the walls as well, and either bed set would match that! :thumbsup2

To me, the pink is the color!

However, I do not think that there is enough green to work with green walls....

Fresh White/Pale yellow.... :thumbsup2

PS: She will have many years to be a tomboy (if that's the case), well after she outgrows her nursery.... I wouldn't worry about using pink. :goodvibes

I have to laugh because my dd was the opposite. We started off with green walls and when she was older she wanted pink (and purple).

OP I think the pink walls with the green bedding would look great. I don't really like the bedding in the pink shade.

I agree with your thoughts about the the green bedding with the pink wall.

Planning ahead sounds like a good idea, but it really doesn't matter what you choose for wall color. Murphy's Law says you will have to paint it anyway. (I chose blue with a star border for my son - stars go with ANYTHING right? Sports, Disney, Space, etc. Yeah. Everything except Dinosaurs. :headache:)

I had the opposite experience. :rotfl: We went with a primary color nursery even though we new we were having a girl, because the next one could have been a boy. Well, as soon as dd1 was old enough to have a say, she wanted pink, pink, pink! She's 11 and still loves pink. :rotfl:

My thought was you'd be more likely to have to repaint a green wall than a pink wall in 3 or 4 years.

Though pink is my FAVORITE color, I picked #1. I agree with Dawn, if doing the walls pink I would go with a very pale Pink. What about a very pale yellow wall?

The colors are similar to my daughters walls... I vote number 2.

We have 2 walls pink and 2 walls green.. much better in person tho...lol

My personal choice is for #2, and I would paint the walls yellow. But that's because i really don't like the green that's in #1. JMO of course, but it reminds me of vomit green. Although I seem to be the minority based on the poll results so far.

I'd get the green one and paint the wall yellow and the wainscoting white. I also think yellow would be less limiting as the baby gets older and may want a different look.

But I also don't like pink much.

My granddaughter has the first bedding and we did her walls in a beautiful pale yellow. I think it looks lovely.
