Narnia costumes

Hi,
Anyone know why the local Disney retail stores don't carry Narnia costumes?

DD7 wants to be Lucy so it looks like we have to order online and guess and what the size is. Seems odd to me that it would not be in a retail store.

I had ordered Lucy & Susan costumes for my girls about a month ago. Just got and email yesterday that the ship date has been delayed for the third time. It may just be that they are having manufacturing troubles and the costumes aren't yet in stock.

I just hope they ship soon or I'm going to have to dig out the sewing machine and start from scratch...

Wow...thanks for the info. I guess we'll pay for that express shipping then. Need the costume for MNSSHP. We leave 9/29. And I don't know how to sew.

To the best of my knowledge. The Disney Store and disneyshopping.com are not owned by the same people. The Disney Store is currently owned by Children's Place (the clothing store) while disneyshopping.com is still owned by the disney co.
I really don't like that they no longer carry the same items... There are some things on disneyshopping.com that I would like, but I hate buying things without being able to actually hold it in my hand and see what it looks like in person first...

Hope you get it in time for your MNSSHP. We ordered Lucy costume yesterday and online order showed it would ship in one week. So, we are hopeful that it will arrive before our MNSSHP 10/2.

The revised ship date I got was that it would ship by 9/8 -- so if that is true you should get it in plenty of time.
