I loved the Narnia attraction! Yes, I know there really wasn't a lot to it, but when I was a kid, that was one of my favorite books. I used to daydream about finding a magic wardrobe and walking through it to Narnia. And with this attraction, I was able to do that.

And I know this will make me sound like a complete dork, but when the doors open and I saw the trees, the lamppost and the "snow" on the ground, I cried like a baby. It was as if the whole scenario had been plucked from my brain and I had been allowed to live out a childhood fantasy. In short, for me: it was magic.

Does anyone know if they ever do photo ops with the White Queen? She was gorgeous and I'd love to have a photo of her. Any chance we might see her during MNSSHP? *crosses fingers*

DS,6, was in awe! I thought it was pretty cool and Jadis was amazing. At first I couldn't tell if she was real or a robot!

We didn't get to MGM this last trip - I'm so bummed we missed it!

Think it'll be around for another 6 - 12 months? Maybe we'll catch it next time!

I too thought it was very well done. The set was awe-inspiring, and whoever they had playing the White Witch looked spot on!

Oh I hope so. I'm putting something in my letter to Disney about it (I always write letters after my trips :p).

And I'm so glad I'm not the only one that loved this. I almost didn't do it because so many people didn't like it! I'm SO glad I did, though. It honestly made my trip.

And the White Queen *was* gorgeous. I wasn't expecting her and when she showed up, I gasped. Then teared up again. I was SUCH a dork.

We couldn't find the attraction when we were there in June. Where is it?
We checked the maps, but could only find the murial.

It's between Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Who Wants To Be a Millionaire - Play It.

I thought it was very well done, too. My only thought was why didn't they have any fur coats as a transition between the wardrobe door and the trees. Perhaps because fur is so politically incorrect, and even if they used artificial fur people would have been upset?

I hadn't noticed the snow outside when we first walked past. I'm glad I didn't. It was really special to see it for the first time when exiting the attraction.

Hi! I'm going down to WDW 10/20-10/28/06 and wanted to know if the Narnia attraction at MGM will still be there for me to see?

You aren't alone. I loved it too. When that door opened to the snow and forest, I was enchanted!

YAY! I was the same way. It was amazing.

I thought about that, too. My thought was maybe since the wardrobe door was so much larger in scale than the movie, they would have had to make unrealistically larger coats. It seems like the coats from the movie are either in display in that attraction or somewhere on the backlot tour.

It should be! :) It was there as of last week when I saw it.

Enjoy it. I really had a blast experiencing it.

Our family really enjoyed this, too. It was one of those attractions that we were pleasantly surprised with. The white witch would be wonderful for MNSSHP, especially since the Disney Store is selling costumes for the kids this year.

I don't have any real answers for you, but I would imagine it would be there through Thanksgiving. The attraction is small - you walk through the Wardrobe and into "Narnia" where they then show you clips from the film. The main attraction isn't the clips, however - it's the set and an appearance from The White Queen. After the "show", you exit into a green Narnia and then are able to view some props and costumes from the film.

Hope that helps. :)

I can't remember where I read this (UG maybe?), but Narnia is supposed to close while they change it to the next Santa Clause movie...

Oh, and not only do I not remember where I read it...I don't recall when the change is supposed to take place.

How's that for information?! :rolleyes1

UGH! First of all, another Santa Clause movie? Really? Why do we need that?

This attraction needs to stay! I think I'm going to print this thread off and send it to Disney (I'm a big believer in letters!).

This was my youngest DS's favorite movie EVER and he was just totally enchanted with the wardrobe. We were right in front when the doors opened and he just loved it. When Jadis was done and everyone headed for the door, he had to go back in and make sure he saw everything. Definitely a special moment -- and the pictures of my DSs with the lamppost are this year's Christmas cards! The funny thing was that the day we were there in Feb was cold so they wore their coats. They fit right in!
