Until our visit in June it was just very good. I guess the restaurant hired a new chef, because our meal was outstanding. I'm quite picky about where I order surf 'n' turf, and the one I ate at Narcoosee's ranks as one of the best.

While I've always had at least good meals there as far as the food goes, the service has ranged from OK to poor. In fact the service is the reason we just don't bother to go there anymore.

We had a wonderful dinner there in mid-November. We sat right by the window and were able to see Wishes very well. In our party, three ordered the filet and said it was done perfectly, my husband and I had the ahi tuna w/wasabi which was also done perfectly. When we ordered it, our waiter asked if we liked sushi (which we do). Evidently some people don't realize that ahi tuna is nearly raw and he didn't want us to be surprised. We knew that but appreciated being asked. Although I'm not much of a wine drinker, my husband and a few of our guests appreciate a good bottle of wine and both were impressed with the wine list. It was my husband's birthday and they did a very nice job of helping us to celebrate without being obnoxious for the other patrons. I had asked to have a special dessert tray which was fabulous.

I had read some of the negative reviews and was a bit concerned, but we had a wonderful dinner and made some fantastic memories.

Dh and I had a wonderful meal there in December. He had surf and turf, I had lobster ... the almond cheesecake was to die for. Service was one of our better experiences at WDW that trip (service is definitely an issue for us, rarely has WDW service risen above the mediocre, IMO). We timed our PSs to watch Wishes but arrived just a little late - saw them from the monorail though and that was beautiful too!
