My family and I are taking a trip to disney in January and we want to do one really good seafood restaurant. We had been planning on doing Bluezoo however I read so many great reviews about Narcoossee's that I made an ADR for that instead. We are just torn on which one to do! Suggestions please!

Having eaten at both several times I say Bluezoo hands down. This place is second to none and the quality and imagination is amazing

I'm really partial to Narcoosee's - and seeing the MK fireworks from their waterfront patio is spectacular

If you really want seafood I would change back to Bluezoo. You will have many more fish options there. I love both but Todd English has come up with some of the most scrumptious innovative dishes I have ever had. The tuna appetizer had siracha dip'n dots. So cool. The preparations beat Narcoosee's hands down. Plus you can get 20% off using an orlandoconventionaid.com coupon.

Narcoosee's has great food too, just more typical preparations. The fireworks are great from the deck.

Bluezoo would still be my fave.

One of the things I wanted to do was actually see the fireworks so I am glad you thought it was worth it! And thanks for the coupon that is awesome!

Do you know if Bluezoo takes a Disney gift card?
We put our rewards on a Disney gift card and want to go somewhere nice.

I doubt it since it's not a "Disney" restaurant.

It is of course better than Narcoossees--but if there are kids in the mix Narcoosees might be better. Much noisier and the fireworks offer an attraction.

Blue Zoo is a more "adult" restaurant and has very few kids compared to Narcoossees.

Have you tried using this 20% coupon? Thanks.

We've always eaten at Narcossee's but it's lost it's magic for us (too noisy, service not great and the lobster was disappointing). We're going to try Bluezoo in January:thumbsup2

You can charge the meal to your room and then use your gift card at the front desk. FYI Blue Zoo takes the TIW card.
IMHO Blue Zoo is in the top 5 signature restaurants at WDW and definitely the best seafood.

I'm going to be in the minority here but....

we prefer Narcoossee's over Bluezoo.

Service was better, food was better and the water parade was also an added bonus for Narcoossee's.

Bluezoo didn't do it for me...it felt almost like a club/bar...or something. I would most certainly feel odd taking my kids there, especially with the scantily dressed girls "working" there.

And honestly, our best seafood during our last visit (and the one prior to) came from California Grill. The scallops were amazing! And I LOVE their sushi. Service was phenomenal as well. Wishes on the observation deck mid course or after dinner...perfection in my opinion. Bluezoo can't compare to that IMO.

Sorry it took so long to get back to y'all. Hate it when life interrupts.

You can't use the Disney gift card, as it is not a Disney owned restaurant.

I have used the orlandoconventionaid.com coupons several times at Bluezoo, Kimonos and Il Mulino. It is not used often, so the servers may not always know about it. Almost every time, the server gets the manager who says no problem. Small hassle, but we have actually gotten better service after meeting the manager each time. Last time at Il Mulino the manager suggested a great wine for us. At Bluezoo, the manager brought us champagne with a raspberry in it to say Happy Anniversary. I can't say enough about either of these restaurants.

Il Mulino has great seafood too. The Dentice is some of the best fish I have ever eaten.

Another vote for bluezoo. And our waiter was amazing. We like Narcoossee's well enough but bluezoo is the best seafood restaurant on site. We going back next month for the 2 pound lobster!:thumbsup2
