I'm making an ADR for my in laws for a date night one night on our upcoming trip. I sent them about 5 choices w/ menus and they picked narcoosees.

I haven't even let them know that this is a place where you can view Wishes so I think i'm just gonna book the dinner for late and then let them be surprised when fireworks starts :-)
If Wishes is at 10- what time should i schedule dinner? I'm thinking 8:30 would be about perfect, but would 8 be too early???
If you've eaten there- is this a 2 hour meal???

Also, do they do anything special here that I could arrange for them?
I don't think they do personalized menus- but maybe a special dessert or wine or something??
I dunno.

thanks for any help!!!

Can't help with the special arrangements question, but time-wise our meals at Narcoossee's usually take about an hour and a half.
8:30 should be fine and if by some chance you aren't finished dinner when the fireworks begin, just do what everyone else in the place does and walk out on the deck, view the show, then resume your meal!

Our dinner lasted 1.5 to 2 hours.

The staff was very helpful with menu changes. My wife does not eat red meat but she wanted the Surf and Turf. They took off the Turf and gave her shrimp. They had a strawberry shortcake that was a work of art and tasted wonderful. I'm not sure how anything could top the shortcake.

A man sitting near us wanted a hot fudge Sunday which was made special for him. Twas a huge bowl they brought out. :scared1::banana::rotfl2: He was only able to eat half of it. :rotfl:

You might want to check and see if you can get their menu online. Seems like they had a large wine list but I did not pay attention.

It was our first visit to Narcoosees but it won't be our last. If you are not staying at GF add a bit of time to getting to Narcoosees. You have to park across the street from the GF and Narcoosees is a bit of a walk from the lobby. Not bad but it might take five minutes or so to walk from the parking lot to the lobby and another five minutes to get to Narcoosees. There was a tram running from the lot to the lobby but it disappeared when I needed it. :confused3:) It was a gorgeous evening so it was a nice walk.

Have fun.

My husband had our menu personalized for our wedding anniversary last year, and we were seated at the window for the fireworks. I would say 8:30 - 9 would be a great time, and make sure to stick around to see the electric water parade that goes right in front of the windows as well.

I agree with the previous poster...keep in mind that your server will also let you go out to the deck in the middle of your meal if you want to enjoy the fireworks from outside. Then you can go back in to your same table, and enjoy dessert!

I called the cake hotline last year and had a "special" dessert made for my husband. It was their signature anniversary cake, and it was amazing! :thumbsup2
