Narcoossee's - tell me about crab cakes & mussels

If you have ordered either the crab cake appetizer or mussels appetizer at Narcoossee's, how were they? Are there any pics out there? I'm having a tough time deciding between the two!

I'm a low-carb kind of gal!! So, I only go with crab cakes if there is very little filler in them.

Didn't have either. I had the duck spring rolls and DW had the calamari.

But we love Narcoossee's!

Had the crabcakes--they were "tasty sweet", but absolutely nothing like a genuine Maryland Crabcake. Not sure what sort of crab meat was in them, but it certainly wasn't jumbo lump!! And there was a generous amount of filler.

Well, that seals the deal for me . . . mussels it is! Coming from PA, I am fortunate enough to get great, fresh Maryland Crab cakes any time I want with nice, big chunks of jumbo lump crab!! YUMMY!!

Guess I'll go for the mussels since there's no filler there!

I had the mussels there a few years ago, and they were some of the best I have ever had, absolutely delicious.
