We are planning a celebratory trip this summer, it's our first time on the DxDP, and we have never tried either. It will be myself, DH and our 2 teens (who appreciate fine cuisine), and possibly DH's parents. Which would you choose, if you could only pick one of these? We are a little sad that we have to pick only one of the two, but so many others we want to do!

TIA

I would go for Citrico's, it's one of our favorite restaurants, we enjoy it more than Narcossee's, we feel there is better food and atmosphere.

Citricos definetly has the better food.

If you really want to see the MK fireworks I might chose Narcoosees. We really didnt like it there however.

You would probably be better off just going to Citricos and getting on the monorail and watching the fireworks from the Poly beach.

Citricos for sure. We have been to Narcossess twice last year and were disappointed both times. Citricos was very good.

6 responses so far and it's unanimous!? I didn't expect that!

Thank you so much for your opinions! Keep them coming.

#7 chiming in for Citricos as well!!

It's far superior to Narcoossee's in every way except the view. But it's a restaurant, so quality food and service are much more important to me than the view.

Yes, I would choose food and service over the view any day! If food and service were equal, of course THEN I'd choose the view!

The food, presentation, atmosphere and service are better at Citricos.

We ate at both this past weekend...hands down, Citricos. The menu was much more innovative and the presentation of the food, the service and the atmosphere were more elegant. Narcoosees was a disappointment--we hadn't been there in a number of years and remembered why! Also, the desserts were much better at Citricos!

DH & I love Citricos:lovestruc

We have eaten there several times and the most recent were for special birthdays...DH's 50th. and mine a few years less ;) and we loved our dinners.

For DH we were seated near the windows which is very lovely and the last visit in Dec. we were seated near the open kitchen. I wasn't sure if I would like that but it was great! All the staff there are in constant motion and it is like watching a dance happen everyone knows exactly where to be at the exact right time. It was fascinating.

Citricos is a must do for us on every trip now.

Happy dining.

We love Narcossee`s but we`ve never been to Citricos;)We love eating whole lobster with a view of the castle. We`ve always had great service and a great meal overall.

I agree with the others, if I could only pick one, it would be Citricos. I've never been disappointed with a meal there, they always seem to be consistent in their food and service.

I have to agree with the other posters....Citricos was definitely the best of the two when we ate there in December.

Citricos is at the top of our list of DDP Signatures for the best food and service (Flying Fish is close behind). Narcoossee's is a real poor excuse for a Signature and isn't nearly as good as some 1TS restaurants, IMO.

We chose Narcoosee's based on menu alone. We had a great meal there and yes the fireworks were amazing. One of my best memories on our last trip!

I would say Narcoossee's... no wait, I mean Citricos, just wanted to be different. :) Citricos is better, the only good thing at Narcoossee's was the lobster, and I've seen reviews which say even that isn't very good anymore.

does Citrico have a chef's table? if yes does anyone know the menu and price?
