Narcoossees or Citricos?

does Citrico have a chef's table? if yes does anyone know the menu and price?

LOL I was starting to wonder the same thing! Though if so, no TS credits for that!

Looks like it's going to be...Citricos! We already have a lovely view of Wishes from the Poly beach and plan to do CG one night during fireworks, so we care very little about the view for this particular meal. The open kitchen sounds cool. We haved dined at several Disney venues with open kitchens but have never been seated near one. Maybe we will ask.

Thank you so much, everyone, for your input. I know I can count on y'all!

We have done both and really enjoyed each one. You'll be happy with which ever one you chose. I'd give the edge to Citrico's for a more "elegant" atmosphere and a bit more "fussy" menu putting it slightly higher on the fine dining scale.

Wine room, yes; chef's table, no.

There is the Chef's Domain but I think you need to rent out the whole table in order to experience it. It seats 12, so if you are only a party of 2 that is a pretty expensive meal.

As a side note, there is a Chef's Wine Tasting Dinner at Flying Fish that is pretty good. We enjoyed it back in October. I don't know what the age restrictions are, but there are 2 seatings per night (I believe 8 people per seating) and the cost comes to about $157 including tax and tip per person. It's a nice experience if you are into that sort of thing.

We went to Narcoosee's for our wedding anniversary. Not only did we have to wait an hour and a half for our table (DS5 fell asleep in my arms while we waited and never woke up), but they blew off our anniversary...no special dessert or anything (yes, we indicated it on our reservation). And the food....it wasn't that great.

So, in my experience, if you want a disappointing and frustrating celebration, pick Narcoosee's, otherwise, pick someplace else. We actually had a better dining experience at the ABC Commissary...

We ate at Narcoosees last trip and were definitely disappointed in it. My filet was way overcooked and my lobster tough. No excuse for that at a signature restaurant.

I debated between the same 2 restaurants, but went with Narcossees because of the menu and the view. I wish we had gone with Citricos instead. I think you've picked the better choice! :thumbsup2

I would choose Citrico's. The food was fantastic, and we discovered a new wine which has become a favorite of ours. This was the best meal of our trip, besides the Queen Victorian room at V&A's. We also decided that Citrico's is the only one of the signature restaurants we tried that we return to on our next trip.
