We are going to be at Narcoossee's on 9-28 to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday. I have read all about how to view the fireworks from the deck at the restaurant. It's a MNSSHP night. I know we can still see them but will they play the soundtrack? They are just not the same without the music.

Thanks!

I would like to know this too we are gonna be at Narcoossee's on Oct 13 our adrs are at 8:45pm the cm told me that wishes was at 9:30pm that night but i realized that MK closed early for MNSSHP so i assumed no Wishes but that would be great if the fireworks for MNSSHP the music is piped in

I believe they do pipe in the music, but no positive. However, you are in for a great meal at Narcoosee's, enjoy!!!:goodvibes Happy Birthday Mom.:cake:

We had a dessert party on the patio over looking the Grand Floridian marina the day before my wedding. We had an awesome view of the fireworks from MNSSHP that night! We could only hear the faint music coming from MK. . . but it did not matter, music or not - it was AWESOME to see the fireworks!

Narcoosees does pipe in the music
We ate there on the last day of our honeymoon and are going back for our 2 year anniversary

For the Halloween party fireworks? The music is played for Wishes but I didn't think it was for hard ticket events. :confused3

I didn't think they piped in the music for the hallowishes or the holiday wishes either.

Bumping this back up to page one!

I went to GF myself yesterday. I saw this topic and realized MNSSHP had a date around my birthday and so I asked my DF 'pretty please' if we could book it for my birthday.

BUT, I know that when you call WDW Dining you don't get someone who works there at the restaurant. Since we were out and about at the World anyway, I asked my DF if we could just check it out ourselves. We did. We braved the sheets of rain and walked to Narcoossee's from the lobby (which was gorgeous by the way...I'd never been in a place to fancy or pretty - I was literally dumbstruck for ten minutes - plus the music!! Ohmygosh.)

We asked the people there if they pipe in the music for Hallowishes and they said they were pretty sure they did. They said, "If there's going to be fireworks we will have the music." Then they asked me to check with concierge to be sure...and since it was on the way out, I did, and they said, "Yes, there'll be music for Hallowishes." And to see if luck was on my side still, I asked, "Do you have an opening around the fireworks time for Sept 16?" They said, "Yes."

And I felt like this: :rotfl:

Then my fiancee was like, "I can't believe you booked your own birthday dinner."

And I said, "You were free to jump in any time!" ;p

Is there outdoor seating on the deck for dinner, or do you just walk out there to watch the fireworks? We are eating there for the first time next month, and I wasn't even thinking about coordinating it with Wishes viewing. Glad I read this post. :)

From what I saw, I believe you walk out to the deck for the fireworks. But the staff is usually very good about preparing you for the fireworks if you ask.

Can someone comment on the food at Narcoossees?? I have ressies to take my mom in December and would like to hear how people enjoy the food as well as the atmosphere. We have 7:30 reservation and will hang out to see fireworks and electric water pageant (parade)...cannot remember the exact name for it at this moment. Thanks for posting this thread. I have been searching this forum for info/feedback on this restaurant.

No dining. Most Guests do go out onto the deck to view the fireworks. Please, though, be considerate of the Guests who remained inside.

We have reservations there on 09/12 at 7'ish. I was disappointed to learn that wishes was not scheduled for that night but after reading this post I realized they were canceled because it was a MNSSH night. That would be awesome if they still had fireworks. I'm taking my parents there and I would love for their to be fireworks. What time do they start?

I have seen and commented on quite a few Narccoossee's threads myself and it's rare that anyone will ever say the food there is less than very good but most of the time, it's just amazing.

I had inquired about this, when we bought our tickets, and a CM told me that the fireworks would be at 930pm on a MNSSHP night (although they usually are at 9pm on the other nights.)

Thanks for the post! It'll be close if we would make it for the fireworks but at least it's a possibility.

I sure hope the fireworks are at 930pm, that's the time I was told too.

I just called today and secured a ressie for early December at 8:30 since I told the DD CM that I wanted to see the fireworks. She wasn't able to assure me a window seat but said that I could ask the host/hostess for a window table :)
