were going to Narcossee for the first time in two weeks. Cant wait!! We're on the Disney Dining Plan. I know that it is 2 dining credits, but are there any menu restrictions? Can you order any entree you'd like? Also will they let you substitute a soup or appetizer for dessert?

I have read food blogs where they ordered the lobster on the dining plan and it is $72 and the most expensive option on the menu, so I think you should be able to order any entree. Also, I do not see any surcharges listed on the menu like they are for the Wagyu at Yachtsman.

I don't know about Narcoosee's specifically, but I do know it is hit or miss whether a restaurant will let you substitute a soup/salad for a dessert. It does look like there is a cheese plate offered in the dessert section of the menu, though, if you want something savory rather than sweet.

They will let you order the cheese plate for an appetizer but ring it up as a dessert if you ask. I did this in December.

My DDIL ordered the plate for her dessert, however I agree that it would be a very nice appetizer.

I am in doubt that there are many appetizers that Narcoosses would allow to sub for dessert, however this one is perfect.
