Can anyone who has eaten at Narcoossee very recently tell me if the lobster dinner or surf and turf are excluded from the DDP? I read on another forum that lobster is considered an add-on and DDP diners are now being charged for it. :sad2:
I really hope this isn't the case. I was SO looking forward to a wonderful lobster dinner, so I thought I'd ask the experts before I make any restaurant changes.
Since this is a 2 TS credit meal you wouldn't think there would be ANY exclusions!

My wife and I ate there last year on the free DDP, and it was incredible! Only complaint is the windows were completely fogged up and couldn't see any of the floating parade/lights thingy..

Actually - according to the menu on allearsnet.com there is no longer a lobster entree available at Coral Reef

My wife and I were there in October of last year during the free dining... We celebrated her b'day at Narcoosee's.. Some of the reviews we had read were not that great, but we had no complaints at all. We both ordered the lobster and the waiter didn't give us a hard time in the least... They also brought us out a b'day cake for the wife.. Too bad I had allergies and couldn't enjoy the wine though. Excellent food.

Oh my goodness,

I've read this thread more than once and thought it was about the Coral Reef. I am so sorry - You are correct their is still lobster on the menu at Narcoosee

That menu is from April however. I wouls not be surprised if it off soon. Kona has changed their dessert and Appys for kids recently and it not on Debs site yet. Anyone been there recently??

Just got back for WDW on July 11th. A suggestion: unless you absolutely have to go to Narcoossee try Cap'n Jack's in DTD for lobster. It's 1TS and the twin lobster tails were excellent. Just a thought.

Thanks for that. I was actually just thinking about canceling an ADR at Nine Dragons (no special reason, just a place we've never tried) and doing CJ's.

I presume those are Florida lobster, right?

:wave2: Yes, I've been to Cap'n Jack's before, but wanted to try a place I've never been to. Getting to eat at a signature restaurant (for free) will be pure luxury!!!

So the general consensus is that lobster is still included on the DDP at Narcoossee? I hope so, I love lobster... :lovestruc

Can any recent diners confirm it - lobster still on at Narcoossee'sand included in the DDP?

We just ate there Sunday night and the lobster as well as Surf 'n' Turf is included on DDP. We had a party of 15 and almost everyone had the lobster.
Thank God for the DDP.

Dave

If I recall, they are Maine lobsters and they weighed about nine ounces each. You received the whole lobster and the claws were very meaty. The surf 'n' turf tail was a pretty good size as well. I hope this helps.

I think the whole lobster is a two pounder!
