Exactly what would be the proper clothes to wear? Dress shorts, polo shirt and sneakers for a guy? And maybe something like a capris (not yoga type), sleeveless (not spaghetti straps) and sandles or sketcher mules for a women? How about a sundress for a little girl? Would that work? That is our typically park clothes, altho we are known to wear flip flips and spaghetti straps from time to time.

Nice casual for either. I think officially that means long pants and collared shirts for men and similar for women, but during the warmer months, it is common for everyone to wear shorts. I would avoid more casual park-wear (especially if you've been sweating) by going back to your room to freshen up and change before dinner. Nice shorts and collared shirts and sneakers should be fine as long as the sneakers aren't beat up. Nice casual loafers (such as boat shoes) would also work.

Basically no tank tops, swim suits, flip flops. You can wear nice jeans (no holes), nice shirts. You don't have to dress in a suit/tie or fancy dress (but you will see that there). We have seen everything from formal wear to nice dress shorts.

Thanks I was wondering too. DH and I going for our anniversary but we wanted to go early and walk around and enjoy the resort before our ressie so I cant see us wearing anything fancy for that. I think Ill wear a sundress and sandals and he will wear a nice pair of kackys and a short sleeve golf type shirt and sperry shoes..

That is more than acceptable.
Actually the only things not permitted at those restaurants are swim wear, swim wear cover-ups, torn clothing, tank tops on men, or t-shirts that have "offensive" wording or pictures. Footwear is not mentioned at all in the dress code, so almost anything goes there. I think those flat rubber flip-flops that you see at pools might qualify as swim wear, but it dosen't specifically say so anywhere----

Thanks everyone! Exactly what I wanted to hear! I was pretty sure our regular clothes would be fine, but I wanted to make sure exactly.

We dressed pretty nice the last couple times we were at Narcoosees and were kind of bummed to see people in pretty casual wear. The table next to us had kids in PJ's, not babies but 5-7 year old kids. The first time we went there was a kid in a swimsuit in the waiting area, they did ask them to put something on over it.

I wore jeans, polo shirts, and black sneakers to all the signiatures on our last trip, and fit in just fine.

Just booked ADRS online. The Flying Fish included the following on my confirm:

Dress Code Guidelines: Men: Khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts. Sports coats opitional.

Women: Capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts

NOT Permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentlemen, cut offs or torn clothing. While t-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics are NOT acceptable.

I really need to wear New Balance shoes for walking around, I can carry shoes but hate to. As was mention in above re: black sneakers, what do you think of clean white ones. I will be wearing nice short and nice top, it's my shoes that bothers me.

You wil lnotice that footwear is not even mentioned in the dress code. White sneakers will be just fine--no one will even be looking at your feet!!

Uncleromulus,Thank you so much for responding. I feel much better now. My husband would have said the same thing "no one is looking at my feet" I am now making reservations for the xmas holidays.
