Narcoosee's Reccomendations

What would you reccomamend getting at Narcoosee's for someone who doesnt like seafood?? Thanks for any help.... Also what is your overal opinion of the restaurant.... We will be going for my dad's Bday.. Has anyone else been there for a Birthday, Do they do anything special??? Thanks!

the filet is phenominal. and the sauce they put on it is even better! i've only had the filet and lobster so that's all i can recommend.

also, the almond-crusted cheesecake is out of this world.

be sure to tell them about the birthday when you make the reservation. my DH and i have been there for our last two anniversaries and i told disney dining that when i made the reservation. the first time we got personalized menus and they wrote, "happy anniversary" on our dessert plate, put a candle in the dessert and had a little fondant banner in the back with cinderella/prince charming and princess aurora/prince phillip on it. the second year we got personalized menus again and complimentary champagne.

one more thing - check what time wishes is going to be showing at MK that night and make your ADR for about an hour before. we've done that in the past and usually we are enjoying wishes and dessert at the same time! even if you don't get a window seat you can go out on the veranda and enjoy the show - the servers don't mind. they pipe in the music and everything. it's really beautiful from there!

Neither my husband nor I eat seafood, and Narcoosee's is our favorite restaurant at Disney. The filet is incredible!

we went in September and one of my friends asked if he could Sub the lamb for the lobster on the surf and turf. They said sure. He said both were incredible.
