does anyone have a preference? we can only go to one signature restaurant and looking at the menus, they all seem comparable in price and all seem to have pretty surroundings. the selection seems the smallest at citricos but i've read good things about the restaurant. help!!!

I would say it depends on your party and what your're looking for. Our favourite was Citricos. It had a really quiet atmosphere which was suited to a romantic dinner, and both the food and service were fantastic.

If you have a large party, or young children California Grill would be my recommendation, as it's much busier and noiser than Citricos. Again the food is fantastic here, the sushi is great and the desserts are to die for. If you're interested in viewing Wishes, you get a great view from here.

Narcoosees was nice, but I prefer the other two.

I have to be honest and have not done Narcoosee's since it opened, but do love Citrico's and try to do when we are there. Also, I did like California grill, just prefer the service, food choices and ambiance of Citrico's.

Of the 3 Citricos is probably the best restaurant as far as food is concerned. And compared to the other two it is quiet. But CG and Narcoossee's have those "views" and that drives many folks to those spots.
For what it's worth, California Grill is our traditional "first night" dinner each trip.

Our favorite would be CG. We always dine there on our first night. We will be dining there again on Dec. 6

We've done all three numerous times (pretty much every trip), and if I had to choose only one, it would probably be in this order:
1) CG
2) Narcoossees
3) Citricos

We really love Narcoosees, so it's almost a tie with CG. Citricos has failed to really really wow us with the food, (though it IS good) and we've had snotty service there (which we have never had at the other 2), but we keep going back because it's got nice atmosphere (comfy chairs!) and it's relatively quiet.

CG has a more "unique" feel to it for some reason, while Narcoossees seems like a lot of other similar restaurants. (though we always have great service there, especially the wine service) We like that Narcoossees has a somewhat more casual vibe than the others too.

CG is our favorite with Narcoosees in second - but we've not tried Citricos yet!:)

I had my Birthday dinner at Citrico's and it was my favorite meal of the trip.. My hubby preferred his Filet at LeCellier to Citrico's but said it was still yummy..

We were origianlly going to eat at Concourse for my B-day however we were so full from our lunch at LeCellier that I cancelled our dinner ressies so we were left with an extra TS credit. I couldn't get in CG but was able to get Citrico's. We had our 2 y/o and they were very nice to her..Our waiter was a bit uppity??? but it was nice, quiet, relaxing and not so Disney. When our DD fell asleep at dinner they offered to bring an extra chair so I could put 2 together for her.. And I got this for my B-day.

We love EVERYTHNG about Narcoossees! Especially the fresh whole maine lobster! The service is wonderful and we enjoy the atmosphere and views.

CG has better food IMOP but is not a quiet restaurant. If I wanted a romantic meal it would be Nacoosees - we ate in Citricos on our last trip and we were disappointed with the food as well as the service.

If you are asking for opinions on a good restaurant I would not choose any of those and go to Jikos - the place is amazing, the food is fantastic and the service is fantastic.

We may now be the opposite. Our first (and only) visit to Narcoossee's was so much fun (might have something to do with all the wine we ordered). Plus, as a non-sushi eater, I sometimes find the dinner menu a little limiting at CG. YMMV. Citricos is next on our list and we hope to try that in February. FWIW.

We eat at CG every time we go. We request the wine room. The view isn't of Magic Kingdom (it faces the other side of the lake). It has 6 tables & much quieter!

Ditto! We had a table in the wine room the last time we dined at CG and really enjoyed it because of the great view of the rest of WDW and the quiet ambiance . As long as you don't need to see the Castle, this is the place to dine at CG IMHO.

We like Narcoossees, too, if you want seafood. :thumbsup2
