Narcoosee's and Wishes

I booked Narcoosee's for a romantic dinner for just DH and I - we will be leaving DGpa, DGma, DS and DNiece at MK for Spectro and Wishes. Our ADR is for 8:20 pm and I have a few questions: having never been there and not being familiar with the layout I am wondering the likelihood of scoring a MK view and seeing the fireworks which are scheduled for 9:00 pm that night. We are on the DDP however would likely order an appetizer and a bottle of wine in additional to the 2TS each and also have dessert after our meal, so I'm sure we would still be seated until after 9 pm Also, because MK will be closed by the time we are finished should we just meet the rest of the family back at CSR or try to meet back up with them at the TTC? I know it would make more sense to meet them at CSR but it is our second night there and DGpa may still be a bit unfamiliar with the transportation arrangements...that said DGma is very 'with it'...help me my genius Dis-friends! I am really looking forward to going to Narcoossee's!

Well you've picked a fabulous restaurant! Narcoossee's is one of our "Never Miss" dining destinations. The Surf and Turf ...anyways, you can request a window seat, but odds are you still won't have a great view of Wishes from your table. It's been our experience that most people go out to the deck to watch the fireworks and end up blocking your tableside view.

Don't let that bum you out...we love watching Wishes from Narcoossee's (out on the deck) and they pipe the music not only inside the restaurant, but outside as well.

Also, if you plan it right, you can stay and watch the Electrical Water Pagent, too. Just another reason Narcoossee's is one of our favorite places to eat at.

As far as meeting your family...I'd say back at the resort, but I'm not sure (seems the easiest to me). Perhaps someone else can help you with that one!

If you want to MK view I would arrive a little early. People do tend to block the view for the fireworks but it is still very nice to look out over the lake at MK.

We were hoping to see the fireworks from our table, but found that many people were out on the deck blocking our view, so we joined them. We were able to come back in to complete our meal afterwards. We will be dining on a MNSSHP night, so we will see Hallowishes. The CM told us the fireworks would be at 9:30 during the party in Sept. I hope she was right. Made my ADR for 8:50.

Speaking of Narcoosses and Wishes, does anyone know if they pipe in the music for Hallowishes as well? We have a dinner planned on one of the MNSSHP nights.
