I was going to just book Napa Rose again for dinner on my first night in November, but then saw the menu for Steakhouse 55 (to which I have never been). For those who have been to both, which is better? And as someone who loves Napa Rose, will I also love Steakhouse 55?

Thanks in advance!

"Better" is subjective. NR is wine country cuisine and S55 is more classic steakhouse cuisine. Both are good and both have good service. But the styles are very different. We like both depending on our mood. If we are feeling more traditional, then we'll go for S55 (and enjoy our AP discount!). If we are feeling more adventurous, we'll go for NR. You can't go wrong with either, so, since you've already been to NR, why not have a new adventure at S55?

We did both last month. Both are really good and you won't be disappointed in either. As a Napa Rose lover, you may be disappointed in Steakhouse 55 simply because of the different cuisine. We are Napa Rose fans ourselves, but do still enjoy S55 occasionally.

I know you wanted to hear from people who have been to both, but I just wanted to inject an opinion about Steakhouse 55. We ate there for the first time two weeks ago and it was an amazing meal. The setting was really relaxing, the service was excellent professional and friendly, and the food was above our expectations. If you like sourdough bread, the bread at the start of the meal is from the Boudin bakery at DCA, yum! We also got a compliementary amuse bouche which was a poke with ahi tuna, and I hate seafood but I thought I would try it anyway and it was really good! Our ribeye steaks were cooked to perfection and the truffle mac and cheese was something I'm still craving. We also shared a side of the potato casserole, that was probably the only low point of the meal as while it was tasty it was just swimming in butter (and I am from the Midwest, we love butter but it was too much). We also went in with the plan of sharing the 24 layer chocolate cake, but hubby decided he wanted his own dessert....so since I came really for the cake I got it and while I couldn't finish it (I tried!) it was a great cake. So, anyway, I would highly suggest Steakhouse. It is now in our top Disney restaurants, that and California Grill at WDW. If you go enjoy!

Because I am a meat and potatoes kinda guy I like steakhouse 55 more but the environment is better at Napa rose.

We prefer Steakhouse to Napa Rose. The truffled mac and cheese was brought over from Club 33 by chef Marcel. The new shrimp cocktail is really good. And we love the sourdough bread!

Consider trying Steakhouse 55 for breakfast too. Our last day (on our last trip) we did this, and it was memorable for many reasons: great food, great service, and the ambiance was incredible.
