If you have the reception here, do you have to pick something from the California Grill menu?

I thought about having my reception here. It has a beautiful view of magic kingdom. The only thing is you have to pick your menu for the reception off of the regular california grill menu. They also don't offer a tasting session. You would have to actually eat at the restaurant.

I am having the Napa Room for my reception and yes there are CG menus you pick from not the standard ones for all the other locations.

Just a quick correction its not off the main restaurant menu it is the catering menu's which are 5 courses each. There are about 4 or 5 to choose from and the prices are different. They start at 80/pp and go up.

we were going with the napa room but the menus are not a good as other venues, in the end we went with the whitehall room and picked from any restaurant in disney and we had a tasting session

Yes the catering menus are different than the resturant menu. But can be customized. I recieved the basic CG catering menus from my WC yesterday. PM me your email address if you'd like me to send them to you.

We're between the Napa Room, the Whitehall Room and The Attic at the moment.

I love the location and size of Napa, and the food at CG is to die for - although if the menus are so limited that you can't make small changes, and you can't go for a tasting session, then I'm not sure about it.

Im also now torn between Napa (mainly because of the view & size) and Living Seas (decor, table sizes and of course fish tanks as my h2b is a big fish lover)

Ohhhhhh, decisions!!??

Mind you, my wedding is so far away that I could have more choices when it comes to booking (especially as bay lake tower is going up - you never know what rooms they have in there?)
