Anyone going to be at the NAMM show next week? I'm working at my company's booth all week. i doubt i'll have a chance to go to DL. or the energy! but i may just try since i'll be staying at the best western stovall's.

Do you think the convention will be well attended? When I made plans for my trip I didn't know about it. If I did, I might not have made the commitment. I think your NAMM show is one of the largest conventions for the year.

it's always huge. it takes up the entire convention center and then some. no one really hits the parks though. there's no time. and most everyone is on their feet all day whether they work a booth or not. your biggest issues will be over crowded hotels and lots of traffic.

Okay good to know. My visit is short, and we will be out of there Friday afternoon anyway. Have a great show!

The convention is HUGE!!!! My company will be there too but I won't be. Mr Bungle, what company do you work for?

I know some guys who are setting up FOR the NAMM show (they work for the company that sets up the booths and the other construction-related things) and they will then be getting into mischief on the convention floor after they are done working (they are also musicians), but I won't be in the middle of that madness, thankfully. A friend of mine was even going to come and stay with me just so he would be in town to work the NAMM show with the other guys, but changed his mind...I think. I still may get a last minute call next week!

NAMM keeps jumping around. Two years ago, it was in Santa Monica, in kind of a different format/layout, and last year it was a smaller event at the L.A. Convention Center.

Actually Sherry, it's been at Anaheim Convention Center for a while. this is my 3rd show and all of them have been in Anaheim. they do have NAMM related events all around l.a. and hollywood though. And summer NAMM has moved around from Nashville a few times i think.

Some of my co workers will be there setting up our company's booth starting Tuesday i think. I go down wednesday for our dealer/rep meeting and launch event.

Pixie - i'll PM you. i don't like to post my company's name in public. just to cover my butt ya know! lol

Ooops! Double post! How did I do that? I think it's time to sign off! Computer is acting strange! Anyway, Mr. Bungle - I take your word for it about Anaheim Convention Center. That sounds right!

Oh, good Lord! I thought I just double posted something above ^ and apparently it didn't! This computer needs to retire! Or I do...one or the other.

Anyway, I recall from the old days of hanging out on the Sunset Strip during the Poison years that a lot of the musicians were going to Anaheim for the NAMM show, so that makes sense now that you mention it, Mr. Bungle. I probably saw the NAMM-related events listed in other locations!!
