Names: Who are you named after?

I am named after my mum's best friend. She Liked her name because she thought it was unique and unordinary. yeah so that's why i am called Sian.

My middle name is Karyn because so is my mum's.

My sister Rhiannon is named after the song Rhiannon. I wonder if any of you have heard of it?

It's strange that both our names are welsh though.

i was named after a dream that my mom had. ahe dreamt. while she was pregnant, that she had a little girl named jesse marie that followed her daddy everywhere.

i was born and voila! jesse marie

well...my first name Anne, is after my dad's mom, who i never knew. My middle name Lee, is after my dad, since his name is Leo. Yeah that's about it lol oh and my last name is way too long LOL i pray when i get married, my husband has a shorter last name!! oh and they were going to call me Lydia..but i like my name better lol. If i was a boy, i would have been Zodak...he was a high priest in The Bible =D

First name: No one. My mom just liked it. She claims that she didn't know it was popular at all, let alone the number one name in the country for baby girls at the time. I guess that it may just have been a subliminal thing-- she heard the name all over the place without registering it, and picked it for the sound without ever knowing. It's a nice name, really, but having the same name as millions of other girls around my age is... a little odd.

My middle name is the same as my mom's. They had decided earlier that I wouldn't have a middle name at all (to match my dad, presumedly) but in the hospital a little while after I was born, he took the papers downstairs to be filed and added my mom's name in tribute.
