names on hats?

Has anyone ever taken the hats they receive at welcome home wednesday and gotten their names stitched on them at the xmas shop at DTD or the hat store in MK? Can we?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do have a cautionary tale. I've never been to a Welcome Home Wednesday. Are the hats special? If so, be careful giving them to one of the hat locations to embroider.

Last year, it took 4 different sets of ears before I finally got one that had "Happy Birthday, Dave" spelled correctly. It was actually funny when we discovered the misspelling the first time. (I'd worn the hat for several hours, and my sister noticed it standing behind me in a line.) We even got a laugh when the CM handed us the second one, also spelled wrong. I was a little less jovial as we waited for the third and forth hats to be sewn.

Oh wow...that stinks Dave! Well our names are pretty easy so hopefully nothing will get messed up! I've always had good results at the xmas shop so I'll try there!!
