named after disney?

Isn't Cleo the fish? I'll have to watch the movie again. Yes, it is, I named my black & White cat after I bought a Figaro stuffed cat from Pinocchio at Disney World.

Oh sorry- wrote that at 6 this morning. Got confused. :goodvibes

We named our cat Raja (Aladdin) and our dog Rufus (Kim Possible) and they both totally match the names.

We named our daughter Aurora. Yes, it is Sleeping Beauty's name, and it is a beautiful name. I used to be a bit embarassed about it but I am not now.

We know someone who names their daughter Aurora Rose, tying in BOTH of Sleeping Beauty's names. I think it's beautiful and wish I thought of it :goodvibes

Our human DD isn't Disney named. But 2 of our furbabies are.. We've got a black and white spotted rat terrier named Perdita- Dita, for short, and a kitten named Toulouse (from Aristocats)- Toula as a nickname for her.

My husband picked out Eric for our son, of course I didn't say anything until after it was on the birth certificate that he was named for a prince. However we both like that movie so I have no problem metioning that to people.

we have a mini dachsund named "Disney" --although, she thinks she is a PRINCESS!! princess:

DOH! I almost forgot my own name! I'm Annette, named after Annette Funicello from the Mickey Mouse Club. I was a Disney lover from birth. :cutie:

DS (the older one) is named Jack. He was born before POTC movies so he wasn't named after Jack Sparrow. DD, if she ever has a daughter of her own, would want to name her Alice.

We have 2 silky terriers one male, one female. When we looked at their ears standing straight up we couldn't help but name them Mickey and Minnie.

none yet, but the idea of Rose after Briar Rose I find to be an easy way for a girl to have a relatively normal name but still with that disney touch

Well, my DS doesn't,but if you look in my signature... You have my puppy Bruce, named for the shark in Finding Nemo and my kitten Zoe, named for the sister in Rollie Pollie Ollie.

I'm 21 weeks now and if it's a girl, it will be Aurora too! Sleeping Beauty is such and oldie (but goodie) that most people don't even know what her name was. But, it's a beautiful word and not as overused as Ariel (or wierd as naming her Snow White!)

Plus the Aurora Borealis is beautiful.

We call my Grand daughter Tink, but her name is Samantha. Thats her to the left. ( proud grand pa)

We wanted to name our dog Stitch, but he looked more like a Mickey. I even dressed him up as Mickey Mouse for Halloween!
