The three mile stretch of beach from Ogunquit to Wells, Maine. It is my favorite because it is the most pristine beach I have ever been on. The sand squeeks under your toes. The dunes protect the beach, and there are hardly any built up areas along the 3 miles. There is a river behind the ocean dunes, making it even more quiet and exclusive. Even in the middle of the summer, there is plenty of room to walk and run. People say hello to you as you walk this particular beach. There are little sandpipers everywhere and cautious gulls that don't bother you like more populated beaches. You can always see sailing boats on the horizon. When you take a deep breath in, there is no other beach in the world that smells and feels the same as Ogunquit Beach.

That was St. Augustine beach and it was ok. My brother tells me the beaches of San Destin are beautiful, so we may check them out this summer.
