I'm not a huge beach lover (it's just okay to me,) but if I had to pick one beach to go to, it would be the beaches in Naples, FL.

I loved Cable Beach in the Bahamas & I have great memories from the beaches of Wildwood, NJ as a teenager. However, the white sandy beaches and clear clean water in Naples makes it my favorite.

Clearwater Beach comes in second!

Jeckyll Island, Georgia or St.Simons...not as off the beaten path as they once were but, a far cry from the jammed up beaches of Florida and just lovely!!

Ft Myers Beach, FL. In fact, I love it so much that my son's middle name is MYERS !! My family has a condo right on the beach and I've been going there since I was 11. It's my favorite place. It's a whole lot crowded there though than it used to be. I'm lucky enough to have my own beach a few miles away here in CT, but it's on Long Island Sound and not the gulf coast

The beach at Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Of course that was 30 years ago so things probably have changed!! I was just satelliting there this evening!!


I like most of the beaches around South Haven, MI on Lake Michigan.

Sea Isle City, NJ . It is a small island. You can walk to the bay & the beach no matter where you are. My Parents have a house on the bay. It has a small Boardwalk. We have been going since I was a teenager.

Far Away, it has to be the beaches at Wailea in Maui. Closer to home, DH loves Sea Isle City, NJ, his family has been going there for over 50 years, mine would be Duck, outer banks of NC.

Lets see, been to the 4 major islands of Hawaii, been to St. John and St. Thomas just last week, been to Jamaica, been to cable beach. My all time favorite beach is Grace Bay beach in Provo turks and caicos and the little nameless beaches all around the island. The clearest water and most powdery sand I have ever seen. I go back in June and can't wait.

Mine would be in the OBX in the Pine Island area (southern section of Pine Island). There are so few houses the beach is almost semi-private. It is amazing enjoying my family there. Nothing beats the privacy! For beauty I would pick the North Shore on Oahu (although I have not been to other islands of Hawaii).

My favorite is Myrtle Beach. There is just crazy fun stuff fo rour whole family to do there;. I suspect after teh kids are grown DW and I will revert back to being "quiet beach" conneseiours.
