Name That Shark!

We all know the waters may sometimes be a bit dangerous, so we take care with whom we trade at DTD or pin meets. As a group of ethical pinpals, we also try to keep a watchful eye on newbies and kids.

But the threat may also arrive via email. We have taken note of several online, veteran traders that <i>consistently</i> offer low value pins for <b>very</b> valuable pins. These are the same traders you would avoid in person, and from whom you might even hide your children! Or, at least your children's pinbooks!

Well, we all know that a fear named is a fear we can face . . . . . . So check out the suggestions below, and <b><i>NAME THAT SHARK!</b></i>

There area few traders whose names I recognize in TA trades. I see their ID and think before even opening the e-mail. I can almost guess what their offer(s) will be. But I always politely refuse.
I figure they must find victims. Otherwise they wouldn't send out consistently lopsided requests.

And even when you tell them that you are on to their true mission, they keep doing it.

"No thank you, I am not interested in trading my LE 500 event exclusive gift pin for your LE 2 billion non -exclusive travel pin!!!!!!!!!"

All I can say is "oy"

You just have to bop 'em on the nose with a rolled up newspaper (figuratively of course ) and move on.

We actually did consider "Land Shark" and "(Disney)Land Shark."

But we were struggling to find names that included the "postal" theme.
