Nauset Light in Eastham, MA on Cape Cod.

Took me a while. The snow threw me off. I know I recognized it. Its been a while since I've been down in that part of the Cape.

Thanks for letting me know! My brother used to live in Quincy, and we took several marathon sightseeing tours when visiting him. I should have done some better documentation of the places we saw! For some reason, we always visited him when it was 16 degrees and snowing outside!

All these light houses are great!! I'm so glad I started this thread!
Keep the pictures coming!!!

I have 3 to share. Maybe someone knows the names- I don't.
1. Is off of an island off Long Island. Not a great view of it.

I grew up on Cape Cod and also lived in Quincy (along with a few other towns in Ma.) for while. LOTS and LOTS to see in this area. I don't even know if I've seen it all and I've been in the area for 38 years.

:offtopic:
Heck, I lived in Quincy for 4+ years and it wasn't till after I moved and saw the HBO mini-series John Adams that I realized how historical Quincy really is. I knew both he and his son were from the area, but there are all kinds of historic area's including their birth places and Piece Field, John Adams home during his Presidency and thereafter. Its still standing today.

I have no idea where your pictures were taken (guessing somewhere on the west coast) but they're beautiful so please DO tell!!:)

The first three pictures are of lighthouses I saw while taking the ferry between Vancouver Island and Vancouver. The second two pictures are of the Big Sur Lighthouse along the central California coast.

Yes, we really enjoyed visiting that area. Too bad my brother moved away...we had a few nice free vacations! :thumbsup2

Now, to keep this thread going...Here is another lighthouse on the East Coast...
