Dang...I know but can't remember for the life of me....we have a TON of them. They are uglyyyyy but be careful if you decide to step on them and kill them they have a ton of goop /blood inside. It's insane and it makes a mess......UMm still thinking....If I remember I'll post if no one else has answered.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!

One early morning around 12:30am, I was sitting on the computer and one of those went s-l-o-w-l-y walking across the room!

I had to put a bowl over it until DH got home to kill it! Freaked me out!

I'd love to know what the heck it is!

I believe it is a Stink Bug. You can google it. From your picture, I am pretty sure that is what it is.

THIS is a stink bug..

The other bug has very very very distinctive horizontal lines on its body.

That's the bug that I had on my finger the other night. I freaked out. DH and I were sitting outside having dinner. I was talking and then looked down and that gigantic bug was on my finger. I freaked out and ran. The monster flew to the ground. I don't think I stepped on it b/c I remember how big it was and didn't want to use my shoe. Nasty, nasty bug!

Thanks for the replies so far. I don't think it was a squash bug. It had this dinosaur like ridge on its back, so it is funny you say it looks prehistoric! I've never seen anything like it, but thanks to ds, it is (dead) now in a container!
Anyone from the morning crowd have a guess?
