Ewwww, mine too! I'm not sure what it is, but I don't EVER want to see one!

EEEEEWWW WE have these here!! They are kamikaze flyers! Don't kill it inside they STINK!!!!
They got in my daughters air conditioner and the smell was throughout her room. It smells almost like cheap nail polish remover.

Ding, ding, ding! I think we have a winner! It sure looks like the same bug! Although, it seems like it is an eastern coast creature? I am in Central IL, but we do live in a neighborhood with tons of mature trees and plenty of conifers. Anyway, thanks!
Now, who wants to see the giant slimy slug that was on our house the other night?

Looks like the same bug posted by tarheel on page one.

Because of the odor associated with the western conifer seed bug it is also sometimes called a 'stink bug'.

We saw this post yesterday and then today saw this on our back door! Looks like it's a Wheel Bug...

That's the bug that I had on my finger the other night. I freaked out. DH and I were sitting outside having dinner. I was talking and then looked down and that gigantic bug was on my finger. I freaked out and ran. The monster flew to the ground. I don't think I stepped on it b/c I remember how big it was and didn't want to use my shoe. Nasty, nasty bug!

Weird, though, that I've never seen one! The thing was huge. You are right. I was talking on the phone and let out a strangled scream mid sentence when I was the bug!
