My DH and I will be at Disney for 2 weeks!:cool1: We will be on the dining plan for part of our trip (4 different reservations :confused3 ). However the other time we will not be on the dining plan and I had seen some people list some items that two people can share and be full. So I was wondering if I could get a list of them in one spot. I would like the name of the park, the counter service place name, and the item. I would greatly appreciate it!!

Thanks a whole bunch this will help me out a lot!!

MK-Cosmic Rays has 1/2 chicken dinners or a ribs and chicken dinner that are pretty big. I got the chicken dinner and shared it with my 2 little boys. The mashed potatoes and green beans were yummy! I think AK-Flame Tree BBQ has a similar menu item.

Most everything at the Pepper Market-
Fajitas
Pastas
Chinese combos
Pizza
Steak + Potato

We always split and had plenty to eat :thumbsup2

Nachos at the Cantina (EPCOT world showcase)...we always end up with way too many even for two big eaters. I second the Cosmic Rays ribs & chicken meals also....a LOT of food there.

we love Nachos .Does it come with pinto bean or black beans? I cant seem to get myself to eat black beans:eek:

oh no...they come with black refried beans. They are the consistency of pintos though (at least in my opinion).....it is one of those places that is constantly making food, yet they will not take special orders for some reason (like no tomatoes):confused3

-Epcot: Tangierine Cafe (Morocco): any of the shawarma platters can be shared and they come with tabouli, hummus and bread. The combo lamb and chicken is the best!

-You can get a double cheeseburger (or bacon double cheeseburger) at most CS locations, and share it instead of getting one burger each.

-DHS: Toy Story Pizza Planet: combo meal with pizza and garden salad can easily be shared...but not the best pizza you will eat!

I agree with the Flame Tree BBQ at AK...we always split meals there. Another thing that anyone can do at CS, is order the kids meal. The food court on the bottom floor of the Land pavillion at Epcot had a great chicken dinner on their kids menu. It came with a drumstick, and mashed potatoes, which is plenty of food for one person. We have also done this at DHS...The Studio Catering Co. has a chicken wrap with fries and a drink and it was really good.

At Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, at the Asian counter, there is a plate with two main items and two sides. My cousins shared this meal while using it as a CS credit on the DDP.

Actually, I don't eat much in one setting, so I felt there was a lot of stuff that could be shared. Also at Sunshine Seasons is a sub station. They were pretty long, and cut in half, and could be shared, but you might want to buy a side like chips (not included on the DDP).

Great ideas. I never thought of using DDP for 1 CS meal and sharing. We could eat 1 early meal, one mid-day meal, and then have our big sit-down meal at night.

Or, we could use one of our meals for breakfast to share, and one of them for lunch to share. Brilliant!

If El Pirata el perico is open get a taco salad and fill it up with the toppings bar. It is huge i got it in May and only ate half of it.

Also at Wolfgang Puck Express the bbq chicken quesidilla can be shared too.

Don't forget that you can order anything they have on the menu. You split teh double burgers by ordering an extra bun for $.80. I think it was Cosmic Ray's that has a ton of stuff on the condiment bar.

for DH and myself, we'll sometimes share a chicken/fries/dessert meal at columbia harbor house - i don't eat a lot, so 1 piece of chicken and some fries is enough for me, DH gets the rest

We plan on sharing several CS meals on our upcoming trip because otherwise, we waste SO much food! I'd rather share a CS meal and have an extra snack later in the day (instead of another CS meal where half gets tossed anyway).

From what I remember, most meals at Disney are big enough to share, or at least share if you don't want to walk away overstuffed!!

The pizza at Pizzafari at AK was big enough to split....and I believe you can get a basket of breadsticks with a snack credit.

At the all star food court you can get a taco salad. It is huge! And if you are on the dining plan you can get a brownie sundae with it!

2 adults couldn't finish all of this!

FYI- Coronado Springs changed their taco salad from hamburg to strips of beef. (who has taco salad with beef strips?):rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
Needless to say we ended up splitting the fajitas... and not crazy about the dessert choices at Coronado.

We shared

Combo plate (ribs and chicken) at Cosmic Rays

Breakfast Pizza at Wolfgang Puck Express

Tonga toast at Captain Cooks (Poly)

Breakfast platter at POFQ

Taco salad at both Pirata and Peco's Bill's (so good, we have that a couple of times a trip!)

Fabulous sandwiches (Beef and Blue Cheese, Ham and Tilamook Cheddar) at Roaring forks (took these with us to the Campfire movie)

Everything at Yak & Yeti CS~ I especially loved the Shrimp Lo Mein, and Honey Chicken
