We are trying to decide if and who we would invite as a friend for DD, but we are thinking of making our reservation now. Can you put a placeholder on a 3 or 4th person in the cabin and then add a name later or take them off all together?

I also have the same question for a 2nd person in the room. Can you have a reservation with primary person + 1.

You can but a To be Announced (tba) reservation, and that would give you today's pricing, and you can add the name later. I would suggest doing that, as it is easier to cancel it (before penalties of course) than to take a chance on space being available later, as well as a higher cost..

I believe this is true for most cruise lines. it is how we booked my infant on Carnival. At the time of booking, we didn't even know if he was a boy or a girl yet. When he was born, we went and updated his part of the reservation.
