Name and Words

Hey fellas!

I´ve been part of vmk for quite a week now (wondering if I am the only German person in the game ), but some things are quite difficult.

First of all I wonder how long does it take to approve my real name, because its nice to be called Guest10000xxxx and so on, but a real name would be much better, because if there are couple of guests in 1 room they usually think I am the other guy or the other guy is me. Hard to do a conversation then
So again, how long does it usally take to approve the name ?

Secondly I must say I have quite the problems with the chat system. Sure I think this is about the 1000 thread that deals with this problem, and I fully understand why there are not all words allowed. And I must even say it enhances my English and my "word creativity" since I am describing my homeland as "the land of chocolate"
But! I must say that I find it quite discriminating that I cant write where I am from. Sure it´s just an online game but it would be nice to know where everybody is from since you get that feeling of an international flair.
So may I suggest that Disney allows at least land names or names like: mate and other non-threatening stuff.
What do other users think of this ?

i am rather new to this board myself, although i have been reading it for a while now. Welcome - this is a great place to get information about a very fun game. Very cool that you are from Germany. It would be neat if we all could indicate our home country or state in the game. i would love to know that i'm chatting with someone from another part of the globe.

On getting your name approved, i have found the time really varies. i have sometimes gotten my name request approved in just a day or two. Other times it takes a week or more. i suspect it depends on how busy the VMK staff are with updating the game or other issues.

i can't help you with inserting pictures. i don't know how to do that myself yet. But i'm sure one of the more knowledgable members will let you know how that is done.

i am also confounded by the chat system. It probably just takes time to learn what you can and cannot type, and then finding a way around it.
