Name a skill your parents taught you?

My parents taught me life skills. They taught me about Jesus and how to pray. Cooking, cleaning, sewing, how to stretch a dollar, some basic maintenance, how to build a fence, drive a tractor, garden and so many things that I could never name them all.

So much more than I could ever name
Among the most important was The Golden Rule, with a variation:

“Do unto others, as you would have them do onto you… but especially as you would have them do unto your parents and your grandparents.”

Hurry up and wait - always arrive early
Work ethic
How to cook
How to clean
How to run a house
How to pay bills
How to do laundry
How to shop to get best price
How NOT to decorate 🤣🤣
How to cut grass
Yardwork lots of yardwork
How to be independent earn your own money to purchase your own things do not depend on your spouse things happen in life be prepared for them

A good work ethic.
Good manners and to respect all people
How important family is.
of course, many, many more.

How to follow through and dress for the occasion, what healthy relationships look like, how to respect myself and other, being kind to others, balancing a checkbook and budgeting, cooking, sewing, and a huge number of other things.
