Name a New Resort just for Fun

What acronym would you like to see used for a new DVC at the Contemporary?

  • VCR (Villas at the Contemporary Resort)

  • CRV (Contemporary Resort Villas)

  • Other

  • It will never be built because CRV & VCR names are already taken (among other reasons)

I guess Villas at the Contemporary sound more exclusive:earboy2:
I agree that using the word "Villas" first describes a very exclusive, upscale environment.

But there's already one DVC property that starts with the "V", and since the Contemporary is so close to it, it would be difficult to think of it in the same class!! :D

Okay, I'll stick to the question of what the name should be....since HBC really didn't ask people if they thought the DVC resort should be built, just what to call it.

I like the proposed Magic Kingdom Monorail Villas (MKMV). Kind of puts all their marketing lures into the title! :D

IMHO the Contemporary is outdated and lacks appeal. Everytime I see the Contemporary the first word that comes to my mind is "Boring". Maybe it is because is just seems to not fit in with the other near by resorts. Maybe it is because it looks to much like an office building. Or maybe because it just needs to be bulldozed. As you can tell I never had any real desire to stay there. From a DVC prospective what a better way to show of the DVC look by having a beautiful resort built in place of the Contemporary. I am all in favor of tearing down this building and putting up a DVC resort. Having a monorail connection would only add to the resort and the desire to buy into DVC. As is now there is no DVC resort next to the MK. Yes the WLV are near by but you can not see MK off in the distance. I would love to be able to see wishes and the castle off in the distance from my resort day or night.

I vote "other" and would call it "Villian's Villa's" which is the first DVC resort located between the existing CR and the newest theme park - "Dark Side of Disney" which is almost exclusively thrill rides themed with Disney Villians from past and present. Did I mention, when staying at this resort, as a DVC member, you also receive a "LOSFP" (length of stay fast pass) which is exclusive to DVC owners only and cannot be purchased by guests paying cash, guests staying on rented points, AP holders or Florida residents?

I can dream can't I?
