Name 5 things in WDW that makes you smile?

LOL, I just read the thread AFTER I posted! Glad to hear you like the same thing about arrival, rbuzzota!

The sun, smiles, smells, and sounds! Okay, that's four right there! :)
Main Street
The flowers and gardens
Peeky Toe Crab Cakes from Flying Fish Cafe
Banana milkshakes from Beaches & Cream

...but it all starts with landing safely at the airport!!! :)

So many things...:)

1. Driving under the arch - we're home!

2. Fireworks over the castle - especially if it is holiday ones that wrap all around the park!

3. Illuminations!

4. Coming across an unexpected treat - entertainers we haven't seen before, or a quiet part of a park we had overlooked in the past.

5. Getting to meet up with fellow DIS'ers. On our past two trips we've had the pleasure to meet DVCReg and Webmaster Michelle!

Great Question!

-Walking Down Main Street
- The Castle
-Seeing Tinks flight before the firworks

Taking pictures w/ characters.

Driving up to the resort for the first time.

"Only" five is going to be really hard... but I'm glad you didn't just ask for one, that would have been impossible!!

I can honestly say I was at my happiest Sept 11 before everyone was asked to leave... I had just gotten my lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue and sat down by the river. The weather was gorgeous everything was perfect. A white crane or egret of some sort flew down and landed not 5 feet from me... I just sat and ate my lunch and marveled at the bird... it was quiet and peaceful and beautiful... that moment will always be stuck in my head vividly... amazing. :)

Not in any certain order:

1) Sights and smells of Main Street

2) Pirates of the Carrib. ride/attraction-I could ride this over and over and still find a small detail I missed before.....and I LOVE that song!!!:)
