Nachos on Fantasy?

I wondered if there is anywhere to get good nachos on the Fantasy? I'm not talking about the orange plastic cheese goop with round chips to dip in it. I mean real nachos, with jalapenos, shredded melted cheese, sour cream, chopped tomatoes, guacamole, maybe some black beans, all piled up on some good chips? (I'm hooked on nachos a bit and wondering if I will be able to get my fix on the boat!) Thanks!

I don't recall seeing good nachos on any of DCL's ships. I think Preludes has the kind you'd get at a movie theater but that's about it. There are some nachos available on the Pirate Night buffet but a. it's a zoo and b. the nachos aren't near what you are looking for. They are going to be generic chips with generic topics.

They had some loaded nachos on the food menu in O’Gils on our last cruise. You had to pay for them. I can’t say how “loaded” they were because we didn’t order them. Also saw some tater tots with guacamole and sour cream. That and a few other bar food items are available for purchase.

If you search the menus on the Disney Cruise like blog you will see the O’Gils food/drink menu which lists the nachos.

No. At the end of June they did have “nachos” in cabanas for lunch but they were pita chips and COLD melted cheese but they did have lots of accompiments like guacamole, olives, tomatoes, etc. At pirate night they had make your own potato bar and make your own taco but the cheese was the fake cheese and the chips were weird again

I seem to remember Mexican style foods on the Pirate Night buffet, but I don't remember if nachos were included.

Just off the fantasy in June.....no nachos that I saw. We did order some at Chankanaab State Park in Cozumel - there is a restaurant just beside the dolphin encounter (not sure what stops you are making). They were only OK. I am sure there have to be some at port restaurants somewhere.

Pirate night buffet they have a taco/nacho bar. Really good choices.

Hey, if we are wishing for nachos on the ocean blue, then I wish for a Rick Bayless Frontera Cocina on the ships! REALLY good authentic mexican food. They even hand make their own corn tortillas! Mmmmm.

On the Fantasy in May/June. On the day in port at Cozumel we went up to Cabanas for lunch. They had pita chips as well as tortilla chips. Toppings included cheese (melted nacho or shredded). Black/refried beans, tomato, lettuce, gauc, sour cream, salsa, etc. Certainly beat Taco Bell any day

Sounds like I will have to look for them at one of the port stops! Though the PP's picture doesn't look half bad. I wonder if they would heat them so the shredded cheese would melt. They totally need some good nachos (and other good Mexican or Tex-Mex type foods!)
