I just checked the DCL website to see if the 2005 dates after April are listed yet. I was thrilled to see the dates are there through December...except the summer months! Ugh!!! I can't take it anymore. We want to go in June or maybe July.

Does anyone what's up with the summer schedules and itineraries?

I was talking to a CM in DCL cabin inventory back in early December and she said that the rest of 2005 through Dec would open up in the next couple of weeks, except for the summer months. When I questioned her about this she said that this could happen if they are considering doing some new ports. Until they have the exact itenerary set they will not open the dates. We are also looking for a summer 2005 cruise.

KelNottAT....I was also very excited this morning when I checked the DCL website and I saw that the rest of 2005 was opened. However, that when I tried to book a cruise for August of 05' it said it was unavailable. So I called DCL, (thinking that maybe they had just started taking reservations and the website might not be updated) but the lady told me that the marketing department has "not made up thier mind when those dates will be released."

So I continue to wait..not so patiently...until I can book another cruise. (Although, I already have 2 others booked on the meantime )

I had the same problem. I sent an e mail to DCl thinking there was somthing wrong. I still have not gotten an answer.
Now I know why.

Even though the website shows cruises available for Dec. 2005, it doesn't seem that you can actually book one. I tried to get a quote for Dec. and I got the same message "Oops!...." This is becoming very frustrating!!!!!!

That was true for the first few weeks after Disney released the 3/4 day cruises for Summer/Fall 2005 days (back in the beginning of December). While those dates were available for booking via phone or through a travel agent, the Disney website did not provide on-line bookings until several weeks later.

Now that those dates have been clearly published to the Magic schedule, I suggest you call your TA or Disney to inquire about the availability of your specific date. Just because the date cannot be booked on-line does not mean that it cannot be booked at this time.

You still can't even inquire about a price through DCL beyond the 7-day Magic on May 7th. I tried. She said she couldn't help me. I called the Castaway Club number yesterday to get a price for the December 17th 7-day and she said her computer doesn't go beyond May 7th.
