Can these tickets be purchased at WDW resorts? On our recent WDW holiday, I simply bought our tickets ( 2 day/1 park per day) tickets from guest services and that was fine for me. Does anyone know if there will be substantial savings if these type of tickets are purchased ahead of time?

There are advance purchase discounts on tickets of 5 days or more. You can see prices on MouseSavers at http://mousesavers.com/wdwticketprices.html#myw. I'm sure that CAA has discounts on tickets for members as well.

Just to add to the above poster...I was speaking with a CM last night as I have been checking the WDW site to get the advance prices for the 7 or 10 day MYW tickets. No discount was coming up. I was advised that the discounts are kicking in for advance purchases only once you start adding on the extra features. So, since we want just a base ticket we will be buying them at the gate. Unless CAA starts to offer something, there is no benefit to buying in advance for us. At this point, our local offices are selling off the old PH tickets first. I don't know if this theory applies to all tickets, all I can say is to play with the menu a bit to see if something will work out for you.
