I just wanted to let those of you know that I had called today and changed our ressie from 10/2-10/6 w/4 day base tickets to 10/2-10/7 w/1 day base tickets. At first the CM told me that she wasn't sure if I could get just the 1 day tickets with the "special" package. I kindly asked her to try it. She came back and told me that the lowest she could find was 2 day base tickets. She told me that they didn't sell the 1 days over the phone. I then kindly asked her to get someone to help her. She placed me on hold for a few minutes and came back and guess what???

I got what I wanted!!!!! :teeth:

It took some probing but it was REALLY worth it!! Now, instead of having to pay off $1027 by August 17th, I only have to pay $714. We can upgrade our tickets when we get there.
Just wanted to pass this on for those of you that are having so much trouble getting this "special" plan accomplished. KEEP ON THEM!!!!!!! :wizard:

Cool beans! I have a room ressie for Feb. I am so hoping we can go again in Feb. after our Nov. trip. Nice little get away in the middle of winter. Only for 4 days but it might be what I need.

I am going to switch it to a package when they come out. Hoping for some kind of good deal in Feb too.

Funny, I called to book at POP and asked about the minimum ticket purchase to qualify for dining, since I already have non-expiring hopper days left from the last trip. The CM actually suggested that the best way to go was to buy a one-day base ticket in order to be able to get the dining offer. She was able to book it with no problem. I guess the trick is to be persistent.

I'm confused...Are you saying that you are only buying a 1 day pass, but you'll be getting the free dining option for more than 1 day? :confused3

I'm asking because we wanted to go to WDW in early October and it looks like the free dining plan is ending around that time.

Thanks so much!! :wave2:

From what I've been told you need the dinning plan to = the days in the hotel but the park tickets can be ONE DAY.

This is CORRECT. Some people have had troubles with CMs/CRO telling them that the hotel nights AND the park ticket days had to match, but this is NOT CORRECT!!!!!!! The FREE DINING PLAN gives you an amount of days = to the hotel nights. The park days have NOTHING to do with it. All you need is to have at least 1 day base tickets on your ressie for EACH PERSON with a check in date by 10/4/05.
