Probably an asked question - but I will ask anyway. We're going in early December for one last trip on our current AP's but my parents will be going with us. Now....my dad is not a crowd person at all - and I'm not sure how much he is going to enjoy it. Can you extend the number or days on a ticket after the original purchase?? Or do you need to make sure that you purchase enough days from the get go? Also - can you add the non-expiration later in the same trip if you decide that you want to do that?? I want to make the most of the money we spend on his ticket but want to have enough if he surprises me and loves it - which I'm hoping he will. The only reason he is even going is he said that he would go with us if I had a little girl :)

Yes, you can upgrade to more days as long as you do so before the pass is entirely used up or within 14 days of its first use (whichever comes first). The no-expiration option can be added but you will pay the upgrade price for the entire number of days originally on the pass and not for just the remaining days. Hope this helps!

Just as an aside, early December is not very crowded or hot. You should not have too many issues with your father concerning crowds except during parades or fireworks. When were there in Dec. 2001, the biggest crowds that we dealt with were at MVMCP!

Early December is our favorite time to go because of the light crowds. I think once we get him there he will have a good time - the whole concept just isn't really up his alley. One more question for clarification -I could buy the 5 day pass - but then if we want to add on 2 more days we just pay the price difference between the Disney 5 day price and the Disney 7 day price - am I following you?? And then if you want to add hopping it's a flat $35 regardless of if you've used any days. Is the non-expiration a flat fee too?? Or is it different for all the different lengths??

It's different depending on the length of pass.
$35 for 5 day, $45 for 6 day, $55 for 7 day, $100 for 8,9,10 day pass
