MYW Ticket Dollar Credit

Say I were to buy a discounted 10-day MYW w/Park Hopping, WITH Expiry from Ticketmania (approx $237). Say then, after 4 days of use, I were to trade in my ticket for another 10-day MYW w/Park Hopping AND NO Expiry from the Gate (approx $365). Would I have now bought 14 days worth of MYW w/Park Hopping and NO Expiry for approx $460??

My Math:
Remaining value on original 10 day MYW ticket is (237/10)*6 days left = $142.20
New 10 day MYW ticket at gate is $365.30 - $142.20 = $223.10

So, Total cost is $237 + $223 = $460
Total Days are 14. The 4 I already used, plus a new 10 day MYW.

That comes to about $32.85 a day.

Is my math right?????

The way the gate agent explained to me, they know if you bought the tickets at a discounted outlet. It is coded in the ticket. So they scan your ticket, give you the full price of what you paid, $237. Then they figure the price of what you are updating to...Wait, if you bought a 10-day, I don't think you can update to another 10-day ,can you? I thought you can only update to a ticket that they offer...that would be a 20-day. I think the most you can update to might be a 14-day. So you would figure out the cost of a 14-day non-expiry ticket. subtract out the $237 you already paid, and that is your price. Basically, you are only buying 4 more days -- minus the 4 you used, that leaves a balance of 10.

Of course, we had a pretty rough time getting our ticketing issues fixed so maybe the explanation I got was skewed. Who knows!

You would be charged $106.50 to add the non expiration and would only have 6 days admissions left.

Once you have a 10 day ticket, it cannot have additional days added to it. You can add options (PH, water parks or non expiration) but no additional days to that same ticket.

Is the new 10-day ticket for the same person? I believe DW is now using biometrics to curb transferring a ticket to another person???

If you're going to spend $460 on tickets, why not save $65 and simply get an annual pass?
