MYW Plus Dining Package Upgrade

I'm hoping someone here can help me. I tried to do a search on this, but just wound up going

Problem:
I booked a MYW plus Dining package for 7 nights in Feb. (yes, over President's weekend....and YES I am that crazy ) If I were to upgrade my tickets to an AP (as we live much closer now than when I first devised the trip) would I lose out on my dining option??

No, I believe, that you would just take your park ticket before you use it to guest services and have it upgraded to an AP.

Thanks, Christinou I've been trying to tell DH what a wonderful idea it would be to upgrade our tickets to APs, and he is all for it so long as it does not mess up our existing reservation.

Yes, the key is to leave your reservation alone and go to the park guest services to upgrade after you have received your tickets at checkin. You will not be able to upgrade at the hotel.
