MYW meal plan and paying OOP

I know at the buffets my 10 yr old who eats very little will be using a dining credit, no problem. But we are eating at Boatswright. Coral Reef(lunch). Le Cellier, and Alfredos and I have looked at the menus and know he will eat off the kids menus. Will we be able to pay out of pocket for these meals? Has anyone had any problems with this?

we dined at boatwrights (our fave!!!) and le cellier, among others and my 10yo ate off the kids' menu, but ordered and adult appy and adult dessert and we used a TS credit...
