I'm getting really frustrated trying to pick the best theme park ticket for our upcoming trip. There are 4 adults in our party--DH, DD (21), DS (19), and me. All but DD are going back next year within 365 days, so the 3 of us will by the discounted AP premium pass for $399. The question regards which pass to get for our DD. We always purchased the Ultimate Park Hopper in the past because we could come & go from the time we arrived until just before heading off to the airport on departure day. We go to DQ almost every evening, but if we need to buy her a special pass each night, the cost will be way too high. Is there an Ultimate Park Hopper option available, or is there an acceptable substitute?

How long are you staying? You can buy a 7 day MYW ticket with hopper and a plus pack that will give you 5 plus visits. Other plus numbers are:

3-day=2 plus options
4 or 5 day = 3 plus options
6 day = 4 plush options.

Plus options include BB, TL, DQ, Pleasure Island, and Wide World of Sports.

I am sure not an expert on these new tickets! I learn more about them here on the DIS every day!

You didn't say how many days she wanted to enter a park, so I started with the 5 day ticket.....

What about getting her the Magic Your Way Premium Plus Ticket with Park hopping? If you want the 5 day one that expires, she can park hop and go to DQ 3 times for $283.29, or get the one that doesn't expire for $320.57 (if your purchase them in advance from Disney).

Hope this helps, or at least gives you a staring spot!

We are getting the 10 day never expire tickets because I know we will be going back, but not necessarily within 365 days. This way we can go twice, 5 days each.

You didn't say how long your vacation was going to be, so it's hard to say exactly what to buy. But .... you should simply get a MYW premium ticket for the number of days you'll be there. It includes the hopper option and Plus Pack options, which include Disney Quest. Now, if you're you're planning on going to Disney Quest every single night of your trip, you will still end up buying a DQ ticket or two for your daughter, but if you purchase (for example) a 7-day MYW Premium ticket, you'll get hopping priviledges and five "plus options," which can all be used to visit DisneyQuest if you want.

We'll be there 7 nights but almost 8 full days. We're spending 1 day at Seaworld. Based on what I've learned, it sounds like we should consider the 7 day premium plus park hopper pass & just buy any add'l tickets she'd need for DQ. I may look at the 10 day option without expiration to see how that would work out long term because DD will definitely be going back in the future also. Thanks to you all for your assistance.

The DQ annual pass is the perfect solution. We never use the other water parks. Thanks a bunch for that suggestion.
