MYW dining plan drinks allowed

Does anyone (who has used the MYW dining) know if the plan allows a "non-alcoholic beverage" to be a smoothie or milkshake? For example, could you go to CRT and get the smoothie with the souvenir glass as your dining plan non alcoholic drink?

Souvenir glasses/mugs are NOT included in the dining plan.

The drinks with souvenir glasses and/or light up ice cubes are not supposed to be allowed on the dining plan. We did have smoothies and milkshakes with many of our meals but not with the souvenir glasses nor the ice cubes EXCEPT for one time...I can't remember for sure but I think it was at Chef Mickey's that they allowed the kids (including one eating as "adult" price on dining plan) the drinks with the light up ice cubes in them. They wouldn't allow it at other restaurants... I wish they'd let you get the drinks WITHOUT the light up ice cubes... we just wanted the drink and didn't care for the light up ice cubes but if it comes with it- most won't let you get it. I'm sure it's the same with the souvenir glasses.

We got the Brew at CRT with the souviner mugs, they just charged us $3 extra for the mugs, which we put on our room charge.

We got the smoothie for dessert at CRT, but we chose not to pay for the mugs. We got them to go.

I ordered a root beer float at Beaches n Creme it counted as a dessert, and
then I ordered a reg root beer (on the plan) just added to the leftover ice cream in my float.
