A word of warning......Do NOT dine there within an hour of the posted closing time. We made that mistake and had one of the worst dining experiences of our lives. :
Every time I've eaten there it's been right at opening...around 11am and have never had a bad experience. We were there in November and it closed at 4:00. WHENEVER it closes, avoid it like the plague for at least an hour before closing.![]()
In my opinion YES.... Mythos is much better than Hard Rock, but it's like comparing apples to oranges. Mythos has won the BEST theme park restaurant award for many years. They have a creative menu, great food, and the atmosphere can't be beat.

That's because the managers are there at opening time. How I WISH we had gone early instead of close to closing time. I think we would have had a better experience. Goodness knows, it couldn't have been much worse. To know this is a near daily problem that they refuse to address only makes it worse.
We've eaten there at various times during the day for the past 12 years and have never had a problem. I wonder if anyone else has experienced the same problem as you. It would be interesting to get some other reviews.
Seems so weird that all the managers would leave before closing time. Who is closing down the restaurant?
Our server (who was BEYOND frustrated) told us they have this problem all the time. Since the managers/asst. managers decided to start leaving an hour before closing, things have gone downhill. I mentioned to her that, had I not had a good view of how the servers were all anxiously waiting for the food from the kitchen, I would have assumed I had a slacker server and have greatly reduced the tip. She said the servers are constantly being stiffed on tips when they work the last hour, because the diners are getting so upset with waiting FOREVER for their food and assume they have bad servers. In reality, the servers can only deliver the food once the kitchen hands it over. She practicaly begged us to complain, in hopes something would be done.
To give you some idea, there were 4 or 5 servers and most had only ONE table. At best, there were 7 tables of diners. It still took almost an hour to get our food. We all seemed to get our food around the same time, after an ungodly wait. I think the kitchen staff just took a long break, had a drink or ten.......something. But they were NOT cooking.
I kid you not, it was one of the all time worst dining experiences of my life.
Oh I am not doubting that you had an awful experience. It is just that you are the first person to state this issue here. I was wondering if anyone else has similar experiences or if this is something new.
