We wanted to try Mythos next Mon (2/23).....I know ADR's are not needed like they are at WDW, but do they take reservations/ADR's and if so, when should I make them?

You can make them at the guest services desk at the front of the park that morning, or at Mythos when you get to the park. February isn't crowded, so you probably won't need them. If you're staying onsite, show them your room key and you'll get priority seating anyway, without a reservation.

So what, in your experience works more effeciently. Calling ahead for either a reservation or priority seating or flashing your on-site resort room key?

Several years ago we tried the room key thing at Margaritaville w/o much success. We still had to stand in line to get in and had a 30 min. or so wait time.

So does the room key work better now or does it really depend on crowds and you're better off calling ahead? We will be there mid March.

First of all Mythos may only be open for lunch since the parks are not open late. They have the same menu for lunch and dinner though. We usually stop in the AM and make a reservaiton.
As for the room key...it depends on which restaurant. It always seems to be less effective at Margaritaville. However there have been times at the Hard Rock Cafe when the line was around the building. We showed our key and were seated in ten minutes.
