Is that what the spray on is called where you are? If it is, here's my experience and advice. Shower before you go. Do NOT under any circumstances shower that day, despite the fact that they tell you you can after 8 hours. Ok, I'm going to answer your questions, then describe the process, so here goes:
1. It works pretty well, but really starts to dissapear around the 5 day mark. It goes evenly, so you don't look streaky when it starts to fade.
2. Don't know, got mine for free when a new place opened up.
3. I only went once, left it till it wore off, then would go again, etc. If you're looking for a really deep tan, maybe, but for a natural one you should be fine going maybe the day before you leave or something.
4. 5-7 days
5. Swimming shouldn't be a problem as long as it's the next day.
Ok, so you get there and they usually make you watch a video telling you what to do. Then you go into the room and strip down to whatever you're wearing or not wearing into the actual booth. There is a lotion for your hands and feet to keep them from turning orange, as well as foot covers (usually anyway, and if you prefer them over the lotion) and a hair cover, these are surgical type. You then step into the booth and assume the position shown on the video after pressing the button. A few seconds later, a VERY cold spray. When it finishes, you turn around (well, check that, depends on the machine) and get the other side. Remember to BREATHE! I almost passed out the first time since I was afraid to breathe the tanner, but it is safe (says so on the video, I just didn't pay attention). Afterwards, you get out of the booth and wipe off with provided towels. Towel off as best you can before putting your clothes back on, and keep in mind you may want to wear old clothes/undies due to some ruboff. When I got home, I would always check for streaks, especially on the backs of my calves. They rubbed right off with a towel at home. Don't shower until the next day (I know, I said it, but it's important). Hope that helps! If you have any more questions I'll try to help!
