Pondering staying here for a few days. Adults only, and we will have car.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

We stayed here a year ago. Very nice, clean and newly updated unit. I understand that they were in the process of remodeling and we got a newly renovated unit, so specify that you want one. We had a one bedroom unit that had a full kitchen, washer/dryer, pull out sofa, dining area, screened balcony with table and chairs, bathroom had shower area and jetted tub area, separated by doors for privacy. They have several pools on property and a restaurant and golf course.
The resort is on Old Lake Wilson off of 192 and near the World Drive exit on 192, so not too far from Disney property.
They are high pressure sales, so my advice is to skip the desk right in the entrance of the door of the building where you check in and go straight to the check in area to the right. After you check in they will direct you to stop at the sales desk on the way out, but just walk on past! Unless you want to do the presentation, which I think for us we got a $100 gift card.
HTH!

We loved it! Nice basic restaurant. Are you getting a special deal? There are other nice places around if you aren't getting a special deal that are similar.

Orbitz has it cheap...cheap..cheap right now ($54/night). Is that the kind of deal that you were referring to? I get nervous when the rates are that cheap. Would also be open to any other suggestions! Thanks!

We have stayed at Mystic Dunes many times. In fact, its our "go to" resort any time the price is right. The units are clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The location is great, especially if you are going to Disney or WWoS venue. When we were staying at Summer Bay during the sink hole, Mystic Dunes took us in, upgraded us to a beautiful unit, gave us free activities for the kids for a week and sent a basket of candy and balloons. Great customer service!

I agree with the above. We stayed two nights in May before our cruise. I "won it" through hotwire( or some other bidding site). I dont recall what I paid but it was a savings off their rack rack. The kids and I enjoyed it. They had a cute basic mini golf course, bike rentals, pools and an activity center. The only downside was i didnt see a hot tub anywhere

We stayed at Mystic Dunes for our 4 day anniversary Disney trip in May. We got an amazing deal off Hotwire (around $70 per night). I did my homework and went in requesting a renovated room. Bypassed the desk after receiving our keys, and we also checked out via the key drop at the end of our stay. The "free gift" is a sales pitch, not worth it. I've heard they can be pushy, but we just didn't give them the opportunity and it was all good. Our suite had a bedroom with tub, separate bathroom with shower, full kitchen, and small living area with couch and tv. Everything was very updated, very clean and beautiful. No complaints whatsoever.
