Mystery Problem Hits US Flights

"There are delays to air traffic at more than two dozen airports across the US because of a communications network problem.

The Federal Aviation Authority says a communications link in the system that processes flight data plans has failed.

The cause of the failure was not known, and a spokeswoman for the FAA added that there had been no impact to radar coverage.

US TV footage showed airports quiet as planes were grounded on the runway."

Update: It's down the East Coast but after hunting around the main US news sites, there's still no info on specific Airports.

I have read it is the Atlanta site that is having problems so everything is bein routed through Salt Lake City hence the system is running slower causing the delays for flights.
