Mystery at Sea

Maybe it's going to be a two-week cruise at the beginning, but not a repo. And then 10 and 11 day cruises to somewhere new? The clue says "It was like it had never left" so that would mean back to Port Canaveral???

My latest prediction is a two-week cruise from Port Canaveral, CC, Bermuda, Le Havre (maybe overnight stay for excursions to Disneyland Paris??) and then back, maybe with another stop at CC. The 10 and 11 night cruises would go to CC and Bermuda. What does everyone else think????

Ok this sounds AWESOME!!!

This is so cool!

Tracy:

I believe you interpreted the clue "somewhat" correctly. I think it just means that the Magic will definitely return to Port Canaveral after the Med cruises. Otherwise, travel agents would not already have dates for repo cruises.

If you take the ship's position on the map and combine it with the compass direction, it means the ship will be sailing into the med. That is my interpretation!

Could the empty tea cup be a reference to Boston. Maybe they will stop in NY on one repo and Boston on the other.

:lmao:

Ok, just the fact ALONE that the announcement is going to be held in World Showcase tomorrow lets me know that this IS a European cruise. I mean think about it, they wouldn't announce a Hawaiian or Alaskan cruise from there. :teeth: Maybe they'll be set up in front of the UK pavilion? Or France? :thumbsup2

/
could be at or between France and UK pavillions, or at the Italy pavillion

or if they want to really throw you for a loop, at the US pavillion for Hawaii or Alaska :rotfl2:

of course there's also the China and/or Japan pavillion for an Asia cruise itinerary :rolleyes1

or the Mexico pavillion if they're indeed returning to California

Gibralter, but I was making dinner and didn't get the gist of how monkey's and Gibralter correlate! Anyway, that suggests Spain. Unfortunately, the person who suggested the clues might be all the places we aren't going, might be right! Wouldn't that tick ALL of us off!!!!!

Don't forget Mickey also owns ABC!!! I'm gonna take a coffee break and tune in tomorrow around 11:30. I could see ABC cutting into programming to make the "big announcement."

off hand - does anyone know how long it would be to cruise from England to Italy - maybe it'll be a whole european trip - stopping at all the countries???

Honestly, the only thing that would tick me off is if they said "fooled you, we're doing the same old tired itineraries" ;)

After tomorrow this thread will be no longer :guilty:

I have had fun reading all of your ideas of where the ship is going. I will just wait for the announcement tomorrow. Depending on the itineraries and cost (of course) tomorrow will help me decide if I am going to try for one of the cruises. Really want to do the Westbound Repo. since I have already done the Eastbound Repo. ;)

This is my first time ever on any "board" so please forgive any breaches of etiquette (or spelling).

My husband got out the atlas and the locales referred to were Castaway Cay, Sitka (Alaska),Amsterdam, Honolulu and Paris.

As for the morse code, all he deciphered made little sense. If they are anagrams I was unable to figure them out.

What he "translated" was

The queen just loves the pie

Magic awaits (full stop) Hot lava has gone to the birds

Enjoying the pigeons and the embrace

Locked in with the count

Our monkeys are not apes.

My son-in-law is working on the audio code on the DCL website.

Can't wait to find out where the Magic will take us!

My TA says the rumor she's been hearing is a 14 day cruise to the Med. and then alternating 10 and 11 cruises through Europe with excursions to DLP of course. Hope she's right - that's my dream vacation! :thumbsup2 Sign me up!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :woohoo:

YAY tomorrow is the day! Thank heavens I am getting a live update! So much information will finally be confirmed or denied tomorrow!

Care to share how one goes about receiving live updates? I'm constantly checking the DCL website in case they go public early.

Welcome to the DIS boards Dennie! I'm also curious as to how people are getting their live update tomorrow.

Yes, it will be sad, but we will slightly change the topic and will all soon be discussing ports, excursions and how much we paid for our staterooms!

I am excited!!!
